Group entities#

BINK is a group of companies. The entity you contract with depends on your country of residence and the product you use; it is named in your account agreement.

Permissions#

Our permissions cover issuing electronic money, executing payment transactions, issuing payment instruments, and providing account information services. We do not take deposits and do not provide investment advice.

Balances held with BINK are electronic money, not bank deposits, and are not covered by deposit guarantee schemes.

Safeguarding#

Customer funds are safeguarded in segregated accounts at regulated credit institutions, reconciled daily and held separately from BINK's own money. In the event of insolvency, safeguarded funds are distributed to customers ahead of general creditors.

Partners#

Cards are issued by licensed issuing partners under scheme licences. Settlement is executed through partner banks and national payment systems. Partner names appear in your product terms.

Customer protection#

  • Segregated safeguarding accounts, reconciled every business day.
  • Independent audit of safeguarding arrangements each year.
  • Complaints escalation to the relevant ombudsman or regulator.
  • Clear disclosure of the contracting entity before you sign up.
