InstaPay
The Central Bank of Egypt's real-time payment (RTP) rail. A customer confirms the transfer from their own banking app — funds move bank-to-bank in seconds, with no card involved.
How it works
On Hosted Checkout, the customer scans a QR code or enters their Instant Payment Address (IPA), then approves the transfer in their bank's app. Confirmation typically lands within 30 seconds — the payment moves from PENDING straight to PAID with no intermediate 3DS-style challenge.
Fastest settlement of the local rails
Because InstaPay is a direct bank transfer rather than a card authorization, there's no risk of a later chargeback the way there is with cards — disputes on InstaPay payments are rare and go through your bank's transfer-recall process rather than the card network.
